What are Model Polaroids?

Polaroid photos is a special type of photos that are used in modeling business. Polaroids are usually needed for agencies, scouts or photographers to see the natural look of a model.

Snapshot Photo Guidelines:

  1. Use a simple digital camera or mobile phone and preferably disable the flash.
  2. No posing, just look natural and relaxed.
  3. Do not wear any makeup whatsoever.
  4. Do not retouch the images in any way. Pimples and blemishes are fine. Really!!
  5. Put your hair up, or pull it back into a ponytail so that your jaw line and cheekbones are well depicted.
  6. Wear a simple bikini, or a bra and panties. You must show your shape and skin.
  7. Keep the background simple, for example a simple wall.

1 Stand still, no smiling, hair tied up backwards.

2 Stand still, no smiling, hair loose.

3 Stand still, smile, hair loose.

4 Stand sideways (in left profile), hair tied up backwards.

5 Stand sideways (in right profile), hair loose.

6 Stand still, front to the camera, hair tied up backwards – full height photo.

7 Stand sideways (in right profile), hair tied up backwards – full height photo.

8 Stand still, back to the camera, hair tied up backwards – full height photo.

9 Stand still, front to the camera, hair tied up backwards – upper body part photo.

10 Stand still, front to the camera, hair loose – upper body part photo.
